Welcome to Smash Riding™ and her story….

Smash Riding embodies the feisty, strong willed, fearless, female in all of us. It is about the Lady Rider that wants to go fast, get dirty and play tough without even smudging her lip gloss. Who says you can’t look as good as you ride? Just because this is a male dominated sport, does not mean we have to look like them. This company is about creating clothing for the lady that wants to look like a lady, so when she kicks the boys ass at the finish line, everyone knows damn well, they were just beat by a girl.

How Smash Riding became a company…

Smash Riding got its start in April of 2009 as a birthday gift to each of my two closest girlfriends. These two particular ladies happen to be my riding buddies as well. Since they share the same love for the sport as I do, I wanted to get them something for our upcoming camping trips we were planning to make in the summer. I was having a hard time figuring out what to get them. Since I happen to be a pretty good seamstress I decided that I would make and then design them personal sweatshirts. There is nothing more cozy when you are camping (which we do a lot of) than a good sweatshirt. I wanted them to be girly yet cool, and we needed a “Team” name. Thus “Smash Riding” was born. It became our team, way of life and our motto.

Everywhere we went after that, we had girls asking where we got them, how to get one, and how cool it is to see casual MX gear that wasn’t just another “brand” but specific to the Lady rider, regardless of what she rides. I started making sweatshirts and tee shirts for a few girls and that grew into more, and here we are today.

We’re just a couple of girls that want to have fun doing what the boys do. We just want to look better. We will go riding, wheeling, paintballing, shooting, hiking, hunting and any other sport that the boys do. We will just do it in lip gloss and PINK.

Out of respect to my fellow male riders (my husband included), I have designed 2 shirts just for men. I even designed and trademarked a different logo for them (lips are excluded). Check em out ladies, and bring one home for the man in your life. He will appreciate it.
